Business

Enterprise and skills networks/programmes are established to enable Entrepreneurs, undergraduates and businesses to develop and grow. They provide support and services to small businesses starting up to enable them to develop and grow.

To increase the skills base of the regional economy, programmes are established to integrate skills and business to meet with the regional needs.

Work placement schemes provide the opportunity for graduates and small businesses to exploit their skills and knowledge acquired.

  • Business Plus -Business+ is a Knowledge Transfer programme aimed to fill the gap between projects run through STEP, student placements and the full 18 months – 3 year Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme.                                     www.seeda.co.uk/businessplus

 

1. Sector Consortia

The South East England Development Agency – (SEEDA) works with a number of industry sectors to improve regional performance together with business growth. SEEDA has set up six Sector Consortia that are companies limited by guarantee and run by a Chief Executive. The Sector Consortia identify issues by businesses to generate economic output.
