Early funding under HEIF | HEIF 2
South East Collaborations - HEIF 2 awards
HEIF 3 Funding allocations | Business Interaction Survey (HE-BCI 2004)

HEIF 2 Funding over a two year period from 2004/2005 & 2005/2006.

The second round of funding was then established to continue and develop the HEIF1 activities. HEIF 2 awards were made available in the Summer of 2004 and provides funding for the academic years 2004-2005 and 2005-2006.

Centres for Knowledge Exchange
The 22 CKE centres that were initiated under HEIF 2 form a network that engage in sharing best practice activities and are being funded to provide specialist shared services to businesses. Please click on the network weblink: http://www.nationalcke.co.uk/


Other funding under HEIF 1

SEC (Science Enterprise Challege)

SEC (Science Enterprise Challenge) and UC (University Challenge) were set up as separate funds under HEIF 1.

UC (University Challenge)
Cascade Fund was created and developed under the UC second round of funding, and received £4million in total. The five partner universities undertaking the research are the universities of Brunel, Reading, Royal Holloway, Surrey and Sussex.
