HEIF 2 Funding over a two year period from 2004/2005 & 2005/2006.

The second round of funding was then established to continue and develop the HEIF1 activities. HEIF 2 awards were made available in the Summer of 2004 and provides funding for the academic years 2004-2005 and 2005-2006.

Centres for Knowledge Exchange
The 22 CKE centres that were initiated under HEIF 2 form a network that engage in sharing best practice activities and are being funded to provide specialist shared services to businesses. Please click on the network weblink: http://www.nationalcke.co.uk/

	Other funding under HEIF 1 SEC (Science Enterprise Challege) SEC (Science Enterprise Challenge) and UC (University Challenge) were set up as separate funds under HEIF 1. The University of Oxford´s Science Enterprise Centre was established under the SEC and is one of the two major centres of the SIAD Business School.
