2007 -Employer Engagement Research undertaken by KSA As skills and employer engagement take a more prominent position, HESE is working to develop a comprehensive evidence base of the existing employer related higher level skills activity within the regions HEIs. They have employed KSA partnership to undertake a research study looking into both existing activity, and also the challenges and issues facing HE in this area. On the basis of this work HESE intend to identify areas of good practice, and to develop pilot projects based on these. The report also makes recommendations relating to each of the issues and challenged identified, which will inform HESE’s engagement with partner bodies (e.g. RSPA) in this area.
