Creative towns and cities in the South East

The creative and performing arts subject cluster is a key area of research strength for the HEIs in the South East, and HEFCE has provided funding to explore the potential for greater collaboration in this area across research, teaching, employer engagement and third stream activity. We are funding a consultancy by BOP Consulting to develop this project. This stage will focus on building a preliminary evidence base, including detailed analysis of critical mass, research quality, strengths, gaps and new research opportunities.      

After approval by the HESE Board the consultants will proceed to the Business Planning Stage and will include recommendations on funding options in the business plan.
